When This Recovery Companion Is Not the Right Next Step
A browser companion can organize education after assessment, but it cannot decide whether your fracture has healed or whether new symptoms are safe. Check the boundaries before you start.

Do not use the companion to wait out urgent symptoms
New or worsening warning signs need clinical assessment. Public education and an eligibility quiz cannot examine your hand or replace urgent medical advice.
Medical DisclaimerUse direct clinical guidance first
This companion is not the right next step if the injury has not been assessed, you are still waiting for permission to begin gentle movement, or your clinician has told you to keep the hand immobilized. It is also not a diagnosis or treatment plan for a new injury or a change in symptoms.
Surgery, pins, plates, wounds, infection concerns, circulation problems, or instructions specific to your fracture need guidance from the team caring for you. The site cannot interpret imaging or decide whether a restriction should change.
Signs that need prompt medical attention
Seek urgent medical advice for severe or worsening pain, new numbness, a blue or white colour change, rapidly increasing swelling, fever or shivering, discharge, or a new inability to move the finger or hold things. Use your local urgent or emergency service when appropriate.
This list is a safety boundary, not a complete triage tool. If something feels urgent or substantially different from the plan your clinician gave you, contact a qualified healthcare professional rather than waiting for the companion.
When the free companion may fit
The current release is intended for adults with a finger or metacarpal fracture who have already been evaluated and are at or near cast removal with clinician clearance for gentle movement. It provides educational organization and a structured 14-day routine, not individualized medical care.
The fit quiz can help you check the product's narrow scope. It cannot confirm that you are medically safe to proceed, and a not-eligible result should send you back to clinical guidance rather than another automated path.

Want structure for the next 14 days?
Start with a short quiz, then decide if the companion fits.
Access is free during the current release for adults with a finger or metacarpal fracture who have already been evaluated by a clinician and are at or near cast removal. The quiz helps organize a structured, safety-aware 14-day companion. It does not diagnose, prescribe treatment, promise recovery outcomes, or replace clinician care.
