Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 12, 2026 · Notice version: 2026-08-12
Fracture Recovery Companion collects the information needed to provide the product: account sign-in details, onboarding and recovery profile answers, plan progress, and support messages you choose to send.
Who is responsible for the data
Fracture Recovery Companion is operated by an independent product operator and is responsible for deciding how information in this service is used. Privacy and account requests can be sent to support@fracturerecoverycoach.com. This contact channel is for privacy and product support, not clinical advice.
How we use information
We use this information to check whether the product is a fit, generate and display your educational recovery plan, improve reliability, and protect the service from misuse.
Recovery profile answers can reveal health information. We use them only to check current product fit, provide the requested educational plan, preserve progress, and operate the service safely. Before a profile is saved, the product requires an affirmative acknowledgement of this use and records the notice version and acknowledgement time. We do not sell recovery profiles or use them for advertising audiences.
Service providers and processing locations
We use contracted infrastructure providers for application hosting, database storage, error monitoring, and sign-in email delivery. They receive only the information needed for those functions and may process it in countries where they operate. We do not send recovery profiles to advertising platforms. AI recovery chat is paused as described below.
Account and recovery-data retention
Account, recovery profile, plan, and progress records are retained while the service is active so you can resume the plan, or until an applicable deletion request is completed. The current release does not claim a fixed automatic deletion period for those account-linked records. Limited backups and security records may remain for the provider's restoration, fraud-prevention, or legal period before expiring under the applicable provider schedule. The separate anonymous measurement periods are described below.
Anonymous aggregate usage measurement
When anonymous measurement is enabled, we count approved product events in daily aggregate buckets. A bucket contains only the UTC date, an approved event name, a coarse approved source and campaign, approved fixed-choice dimension, and a count. Day 1 feedback uses fixed relevance, clarity, and friction choices and never asks for free text. Each choice is counted in a separate marginal aggregate rather than retaining a combined answer profile. Choosing Other is not sent.
This measurement uses no analytics cookies and does not store a unique visitor ID, fingerprint, IP address, user agent, email, account or session ID, recovery profile, injury details, chat, report, payment data, full URL, raw query string, referrer, or free-text feedback in the analytics database. Counts are event occurrences, not unique people.
Browser storage and retention
This browser may store frc_analytics_context, frc_analytics_opt_out, and a fixed Day 1 feedback receipt. Campaign context contains only an approved source, approved campaign, version, capture time, and expiry. It expires after 30 days. The feedback receipt contains only a version and 90-day expiry - no answer, account, or unique ID - so this browser is not asked to submit the same checkpoint repeatedly. Daily aggregate counts are retained for up to 90 days and older buckets are removed by a scheduled first-party job.
Turning measurement off clears campaign context and stops later events in this browser. Earlier counts contain no personal identifier, so we cannot locate or delete one person's contribution from an aggregate.
AI services
The current release does not require payment. If paid checkout is introduced later, this policy will be updated before payment is required. AI recovery chat is paused for the current release. If it is introduced in a later version, this policy will be updated before AI questions are processed by third-party AI service providers.
Your choices
Use only information you are comfortable entering. Do not use the product for emergencies or enter unrelated sensitive information. You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a copy of account information where applicable by emailing support@fracturerecoverycoach.com. You may also complain to the privacy or data-protection regulator that applies where you live. Withdrawing an acknowledgement or requesting deletion does not alter processing that was already lawfully completed, and deleting the profile can make the plan unavailable.
Anonymous usage measurement
You can stop or allow first-party aggregate measurement in this browser. Turning it off also clears saved campaign context and does not affect your account, plan, or progress.
